PhD students
NeuroParkville participants welcome students from universities throughout Australia and overseas. A current enrolment via an appropriate university department is an essential requirement for postgraduate study. A number of senior scientific staff possess conjoint Institute/University appointments, but in all other instances, a secondary co-supervisor must be nominated from the department in which you are enrolled.
Masters of Science students
As with the PhD program, MSc students need a current enrolment in an appropriate university department. See information for intending Masters of Science students at the School of Graduate Studies, the University of Melbourne.
Honours students
Places are available each year on the Honours Program to science graduates wishing to pursue further study in neuroscience. Although students undertake all scientific work at the relevant institute, and are supervised by institute scientists, they must also be enrolled through a University department, with a University-based co-supervisor. The majority of honours students are enrolled through University of Melbourne Departments such as Physiology, Pharmacology, Anatomy and Cell Biology or Biochemistry.
